Both electrodes use high-surface-area PtRu catalysts, SGL 22BB hydrophobic carbon paper, and anion exchange resin-based ionomer binders (e.g., Fumion, PiperION, NEXIONIC). A post-coat treatment is applied to enhance adhesion to membranes and improve ionic conductivity and water management under alkaline conditions.
