All our curry leaf plants are PROPAGATED FROM A SINGLE MOTHER PLANT in our farm, ORGANICALLY GROWN FREE OF PESTICIDE applications. Carefully hand-picked curry leaves are WASHED IN ORGANIC LIQUIDS, rinsed with potable water, shade dried and packed immediately after USDA inspection. Native to India (and totally unrelated to curry powder) curry leaves are almond-shaped with a complex citrus flavor often described as reminiscent of lemongrass, anise, and asafetida but none of these comparisons do it justice. They are often used along with bay leaves, cinnamon, cardamom, coriander, cilantro, mustard, turmeric, cumin seeds, fenugreek in the preparation of curry powder, curry paste and are an essential ingredient of INDIAN and THAI SPICES AND GARAM MASALA. They are PACKED WITH ANTIOXIDANTS that may protect your body by reducing oxidative stress and scavenging free radicals. Our FRESH curry leaves are shipped in resealable zippered mylar foil bags to maintain their ideal freshness and texture. Curry leaves STAY FRESH FOR 7-10 DAYS. Please refrigerate as soon as possible to maintain its freshness for few weeks. You could use dried or frozen leaves, but neither compare with the aroma and flavor of our fresh variety.
